How To Do When You do not feel like doing it
There is only one technique which I found actually helpful. After reading hell lot of material from years related to time management, productivity, planning etc.
I finally get relief when I found this simple effective technique which is so powerful. The main problem where everybody gets stuck is: “what to do when you don’t feel like doing it”. Instead of procrastinating, just close your eyes, and visualize, that you are doing that specific work of your To Do list. Go deep in to your imagination and clearly visualize the steps that how you are doing it. Feel it and enjoy it in your imagination. It may take 30 seconds or maximum 4 to 5 minutes. And you will start feeling opposite. You heart will say Get up and go enjoy doing this work.
I remember that, whenever I used to read that sentence: “Do it whether you feel like doing it or not”. I used to think HOW???
So, this is the real answer. “Fake it, until you make it”. I will rather say, feel it truly with compassion and love. Love is the feeling of power which steal you from you until seal you with destination.
Visualization is so powerful tool, you just need to think about it and feel good about it, and it will pull you towards itself. Just like love theory works. From now on, stop pushing yourself to do something when you don’t feel like doing it. Just visualize it and feel it by heart, enjoy it in your thoughts and reality will take care of itself!
